About
A house
of hosts.

Sol Borneo began at a kitchen table. We are shaped by indigenous Bidayuh hospitality, and by the many neighbours who share this river, these mountains, this rain.
We began with a simple question: how do we share what we grew up in, without turning our neighbours into an attraction?
The answer, we think, is honesty. Small groups. Real hosts. Fair pay. No staged smiles, no drone shots, no exotic framing. Just a door held open, a chair pulled out, a bowl passed across the table.
We are a house of hosts before we are a company. Everything else follows from that.
What we believe
Dignity, always.
Our hosts are collaborators, not content. They set the terms of their own participation.
Small is the point.
Groups stay small. Days stay unhurried. Depth over reach.
Fair, transparently.
Hosts receive the majority of every experience fee. We publish the split on request.
Craft over spectacle.
We're drawn to the quiet arts — weaving, cooking, growing, listening.
Home first.
We build for the people who live here, then invite others in.

The house is
usually open.
Coffee in the morning. Journal in the afternoon. A shared table some evenings. Write ahead — we'll put the kettle on.
